I-90 Bridge over Clark Fork River East-Missoula/Bonner, Montana

The I-90 bridges over Clark Fork River in East-Missoula/Bonner, Montana was a seismic retrofit and reconstruction project to ensure reliability and provide structural security in the event of a seismic occurrence.

RJ Watson EQS bearings were selected for their force restoring capabilities and excellent long-term durability for both bridges east and westbound in East-Missoula. A total of 28 bearings were installed. The project was awarded in 1998 and was most recently inspected in August 2023.
